Our circumstances don’t have to define us. That’s why Yes We Can World Foundation – a Latina-led nonprofit – nurtures Latine excellence through education, culture and narrative change.

This soaring vision for Yes We Can World Foundation is rooted in real-life experience. As a child, Yes We Can’s Co-founder Estefanía Rebellón fled to the U.S. with her family, seeking asylum from political violence in Colombia. Once equipped with a safe home and an education in the U.S., Estefania thrived, eventually forging a successful career as an actress, activist, and humanitarian. Today, she is on a mission to uplift and share her community’s potential, vibrancy and authenticity, including Latines’ hopes and dreams and their rising power in American culture, economics, and politics.

Yes We Can World Foundation

Our Journey

Yes We Can World Foundation has grown from one mobile classroom into a multi-program organization reaching thousands of migrant and Latine youth.

Since launching its first pop up school program in 2018, our bilingual, accredited Yes We Can Mobile Schools Program have served over 4,500 students and delivered more than 2.5 million hours of education in five locations. This growth has been driven directly by community need—from families, shelters, and government agencies requesting our presence in new cities along the U.S.–Mexico border.

Now, with the launch of Yes We Can Cultura Connect and Yes We Can Creative, we are expanding our reach to inspire, mentor, and equip Latine youth across the country through cultural pride and uplift the Latine community through storytelling.
